the HIGH COUNCIL has been in existance since the corp was formed by our founder many many years ago. it's purpose and legacy will continue on far into the future.
these past 2 1/2 weeks have seen a lot of activity in our corp surrounding this "race" for an appointment to RAGEX's governing body, the HIGH COUNCIL candidates have publically expressed their viewpoints and positions on a variety of issues. compagning was always a part of their daily activities.. and in the full nature of a political compagin, someone evensent me a bribe...an ugly SHEEP, i know she's a virgin!! how-ever, there was no card attached so i have no clue who did it... but thanks anyways i'm also told that one candidate went as far as spelling his name out with secured containers outside our headquarters!! i'm gonna check all my cattle to insure no-one spay painted any campaign slogans on them!!
The much anticipated peak of this campaign was the debate between the top four candidates as selected by corporate members
the debate was held live on teamspeak with the candidates, corp members and the current present. each candidate was given an opportunity for an opening statment and then they all faced a barrage of questions that were submitted by the corp members and moderated by our ceo, Delaan
i must say that all of the candidates rose to this occassion and competed with all of their being for the one (1) opening on the HIGH COUNCIL. all candidates handled themselevs as professional statesmen and brought a variety of viewpoints to the table.
after an extensive debate our moderator allowed a recess in order for the corp members that were present the opportunity to goto the "polls" and select their 1 (one)
choice to represent them on the HIGH COUNCIL
when we reconveined, all four candidates were given a final 90 seconds to individually present a closing statement....this also was well receive by both the corp. members and the HIGH COUNCIL at this point, the HIGH COUNCIL ajourned to council chambers and began the difficult task of reviewing and qualifing these candidates base on age old corp protocal. we reviewed many aspects of all of the candidates. level of game-play and overall involment with other members and corp activities... the manner in which they have conducted themselves both for their entirity with RAGEX and, yes we did a little snoopin around, and checked out their previous history in other games that we knew of and other corps. we considered each canidate's potential to handle to the great responsibilities and burdens that comes with membership in the HIGH COUNCIL and after we went through all of the qualifing and disqualifyin guidlines we came to the very FIRM understanding that not ONE of these candiditates qualified for exclusion
it is a great honor that i ask you, the membership of RAGEX to welcome our four (4) newest members of the HIGH COUNCIL.

we could not find it within ourselfs or within the established guidelines to exclude any to these folks and we appointed them all for lifetime membership on our governing body of RAGEX, the HIGH COUNCIL
congradulations to both all of the successful candidates and to our entire membership for taking an active part in this important event in the history of RAGEX
